Shopping Spree and Watching 3 VCDs

Dear Confidant,
I went shopping just now (which is actually yesterday!).. Bought my sista a book for new Christians like her.. Pray that she will read it and it'll help her grow!
Next on the list is a Chinese book.. Translated into English, "Blessing and Curse: You can choose" by Derek Prince.. Close friends will wonder why I would buy a Chinese book.. Well, 1 reason is I was to challenge myself to read a Chinese Christian book. But my main purpose is to leave the book lying around, in hope that mum or dad will see and take interest in the book! Then they will start reading! I may sound crazy in doing this.. But to me, this is one way that MAY bring my parents a little closer to Christ.
Finally, I got myself a 256 MB thumb-drive-cum-MP3 player. It cost me $130 plus! But it had many functions that I like and is user-friendly.. so I think that I got a good deal! Thank GOD for granting me with something that is in my Christmas wishlist..
Then I watched 3 VCDs: Leadership Camp on Cruise, Children Camp 2003 and Cluster Bonding 2003. I thank God for the sweet memories they brought! Indeed the Leadership Camp taught me many things and I realised that I miss the cruise very much.. After all, I only spent S$50 for it! If there is another chance offered by Singapore Polytechnic SAA, I will definitely go.. There was also a scene of Phuket which reminded me of the tragic tsunami incident that happened on 26th December last year.. May God help us see His divine purpose in allowing this disaster..
I spent lot of time laughing like a mad girl while watching the children camp VCD. Their talentnight performance was very, so, especially.. FUNNY.. My brother even said that I should laugh softer.. (Duh! How to laugh softer?) During the camp last last year, the kids gave me a surprise birthday celebration. Hearing them sing a birthday song truly warmed my heart!
Finally the Cluster Bonding VCD! I watched this TWICE!! Heh heh! This VCD was edited by You Zhong whom I lost contact with soon after he received Christ in one of our Alpha sessions. Sad case! Better contact him soon.. Had a good time recalling the fun games, the food, the people etc.. We played water bombs and many indoor mass games.. Imagine youth adult playing like children..? Looking at the face of Jer boy in 2003 made me laugh too.. He look more and more cute as he grows! Really! Not "curry-favour" cluster leader, ok? Oh, this is also the only event that all my 3 prayer triplets came.. They are my close pals in Hai Sing.. they know who they are..
