Dearie Diary,

I had some GREAT news! And 1 not so good news...

The not so good news is that I think that my group had not done well in my marketing presentation on Tuesday (8th April). We were the first group to present. It was a formal grpup presentation and I was the third speaker. I was so nervous but thank God that I did remember what I was supposed to say... Well at least the important things I need to say.

Another reason that I think we will not do well is due to the Q&A session. We are not very sure of some of the theory. I pray that despite that we will get at least a B.

Time for the good news... Wait! Let me count how many good news first. 1... 2... 3... okie there are 3...

The first one is that I brought a new handphone 9 days after I lost my previous phone (Nokia 3315)... I bought a Nokia 8250 and sign a 2 year contract with Starhub. I paid $98 no... I should say my mum paid $98 for it and $20.80 for the replacement sim card since it is the second time I lose it (The first replacement sim card is free)...

Next is regarding another presentation of mine... It is a management presentation. In contrast with the marketing presentation, my group was the last group to present. :) I do not consider this presentation as formal though we dressed formally. The reason is because we did a skit for the presentation.

Our management tutor gave us feedback after the presentation. She had only one negative feedback and many positive ones. :) We were given 30 - 35 minutes for our presentation. However, we only took up 20 minutes of the time.

Also, during the Q&A session, she kinda of help our group a bit. One question is asking about leadership of the manager we are presenting but our answer is focusing on the culture of organisation. We are not wrong with our explaination because the concept asked overlapped 2 topics. So the teacher clear things up.

However, she mention that she'll not consider this when she grades us. She may not change/help our grades but she did help us to clear things up. After she clear things up, the bombardment of questions stopped. Hee... bombardment due to misunderstanding... In the end, she commented that on the whole, our performance were excellent.

The last good news is that I am selected to be a Student Lab Assistant. :) Well well, you might be thinking, "What's that?" Let me explain. It is actually being a student helper in the conmputer lab in my school. And the best thing is that we are paid $5 per hour.

It is good news as I thought that I was not selected. I mistook the date of the results to be last friday instead of today.

The good thing about working in school is GREAT. Firstly it is convenient. Next is that it is easier to negotiate things if this job caused my result to drop. And finally is of course the money. I hope to save up for future mission trips or community service trips. :)

So happy!~!~ hee... can't help but keep smiling :))) I shall end of with a prayer...

Dear God, thank You so much for blessing me with these mundane things in life. I pray that I'll not ONLY be happy in these minior things. But more importantly, be HAPPY to do things that glorify Your holy name. I pray that I will put You first in my life by making conscious effort to read your word and pray to you EACH AND EVERYDAY consistently. All these I pray in JESUS' mighty name. Amen!!
