A GREAT & BLESSED Sunday

Dearie Diary,
I am not supposed to be online now. I should be busy doing last minute preparation for the China trip. But I thought since today, God BLESSED my day, I should record it here. Hopely it will serve as a reminder of God's blessing to my life.
Today is the first time I start to serve in the children (Celebration Kids)ministry. Things did not started off well for me...
Somehow I was the only one in my team that did not get the programme. The team leader told me that she posted it to me already. But I did not recieve it in time. That means I help out without being sure of the songs and the programme plan.
When I arrived in the morning, I was told that I need to act out something which is a major role. THANK GOD that at least the storyline is a familiar bible story. But being unprepared, I got difficulty acting the "spolit brat" that I was supposed to act. In the end, THANK GOD that someone offer to switch the roles with me. The other role was a minor role and easier for me to act out.
THANK GOD at least I know beforehand that I was the game I/C. But unfortunately, I forgot to bring one of the important logistics needed for the game. THANK GOD that the team leader was quick to find a suitable alternative.
I was also assigned to change the CDs. But the instruction to me was not complete, so I was a bit confused. THANK GOD that though I played the music wrongly it did not caused MUCH disruption to the programme.
THANK GOD that things went smoothly despite of the "bad" start. THANK GOD that I learn a lot when I lead the games. THANK GOD that I learn that the importance of having good control of the timing. I did not know how long my games should take. I actually took 40 mins for 3 games. It was too long considering that our programme is only about 1.5 hours. So the limit of 20mins was setted when we had a debrief.
Today I recieved a simple note from a fellow sister in Christ. It was very encouraging. She wrote that I had been an encourager to her though I did not know it. Indeed I did not realise that. THANK GOD that I can be a good testimony (thru' being an encourager) to her. THANK GOD that there is JOY OF THE LORD in me as I serve Him (according to this sister in Christ). THANK GOD for the timely encouragement when things go wrong at first in CK. THANK GOD for that sister in Christ. Though I did not know her for very long, she had touched my life in such a special way.
THANK GOD also for touching my in today's worship. I actually teared... IT FEEL SO GREAT to be TOUCHED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT!
Indeed, I have many blessings to count today. I believe that it is by God's grace that I recieve so much from Him. Sometimes I just feel that I do not deserve them as I sinned against Him time and again. Yet, God in his grace, gave so gladly.
To any non-christians who had read this, I just want to let you know God (Jesus Christ) want to bless you MORE that he is blessing you now. Believe in Him to recieve these extra blessing.
To christians who had read this, may this encourage you. Remember to count your blessings, ok?
