The significant decision

Dearie Diary,
It had been quite some time since I wrote in you. Many things happened in these past 2 weeks but I shall write only the most significance decision that I had made.
I had decided to go on a trip to China in June. It is not a tour or something. It is a community service trip with my church friends. It is to serve the Lord.
Why had I choosen to go? I guess the overridding reason is I want to shown God that I know how much He cared and help for me. In this one year that I converted to be a Christian, the Lord had show me mercy, guidance and direction. It is high time that I serve Him!
The next reason is that I want to learn this fact that it is BETTER to give than to recieve. I had heard about the joy of giving since young but I did not know if I truely experience it. I see this opportunity that God gave me to feel the joy that I get when I give. Thank God for this chance!
I will be heading to Guiyang on the 18 of June. Our team will be divided into two groups according to the location we are going. My group will be ministering to the children in Udang School while the other group will be minitering to the youth in Kaili.
We are now in the process of planning and I pray that God will give us the wisdom to know how to minister to the people in China.
I guess I shall end with this sentence of the song that my church sang this morning. Though I forgot the title of my song but I still remember this sentence as it really reflects my thoughts. "I want to care for others like Jesus care for me..."
