2 days of Top Fun!!!

Dearie Diary,
Today is the first day of work after a 1 week Chinese New Year (CNY) holidays. Then we were told that today will be half day! My colleague and I was so surprised. Our response was so funny. lol... We did not expect it and we just went "huh?". And for one moment I thought my boss was joking but he was not...
Later, he even treat us lunch in Mandarin Hotel (a 5 star hotel). Wow, what a treat. We had this special dish that most Chinese will have in the CNY period. There are a lot of ingredients in a big plate. A group of people will come together and use chopsticks to 'lift up' the food. It was believed that the higher you 'lift' the ingredients, the more your business will prosper. I don't know if I had explain this dish clearly but I try my best already. Hopely you will get a rough idea of this food. And I shall not say much about the rest of the food. I did not know how to describe them well anyway...
After that, I went shopping with the lady boss and colleague. It is so exciting. Well, you may think "Does Shu Ling have a problem? Shopping exciting?? She sound like she never go shopping for a long time." Let me tell you why I think so.
1. Today I brought the most number(4) of clothes at one go. And I realise that that they are all tops. I did not buy any skirt or pants.
2. Today is the 2nd time I brought clothes without my mum beside me. I usually buy new clothes after consulting her opinions on the spot. But today I was not with her. And by the way during the 1st time I brought clothes without my mum beside me, the item brought is just jeans. A simple looking jeans. lol...
After telling you why it is so exciting for me, you may still think it is not so exciting afterall. Well, I guess I will not be bothered with what you feel. Afterall all of us are different.
The day before is also a day FULL of fun... After church yesterday, I brought my siblings to Singapore Science Centre. There is this exhibition call Grossology where one can learn about the impolite science of human body. I gave them this treat since I got my pay a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to go for this exhibition for quite some time but did not have company to go with me. Ha ha... so you see, I say that I gave them a treat rather than they accompany me... Kind of kill 2 birds with 1 stone. lol...
I learn a lot that day. Why some people just burps so much? lol... by the way i am one of these pple and it can get quite embarrassing. What cause us to close our eyes when we sneeze? And there is an explaination on why we vomit and what happen in our body when we vomit. Well a lot more... their exhibit look real too. I had a FUN time learning!
And in the evening, my silbings and I met our mum to attend a birthday party. We celebrated five people's birthday as all their birthday fall in Feb. The five of them are my mum's friend's son and relatives. So cool! Can really see how close this big family are to one another. I will not mention how good is the food again. It is a buffet so if I were to elaborate, it will be never-ending. Ha ha..
